GÖKÇENAY YAMAN

Gökçenay was born in Ankara and spent most of her life in Ankara and Geneva. She completed her primary and secondary education partly in Tevfik Fikret Schools in Ankara and partly in Switzerland, Geneva. Afterward, she completed High School in Liceo Vilfredo Pareto in Geneva, where her perspective on art was shaped. After spending some time at Fribourg Law School in Switzerland, she decided to pursue her career in art, where she focused on fashion photography. To achieve this, she attended the Istanbul Fashion Academy in Turkey and received certificates in styling and fashion photography. Her work is mainly inspired by Ara Guler and Hedi Slimane's works.

During her years in Italian High School, she was inspired by Dante Alighieri, who pushed her to obtain a degree in French Literature from Hacettepe University. She speaks Turkish and French natively and Italian and English fluently.

She has the ambition of becoming a world-famous Turkish photographer and contributing to her country.
